Weekend Program – Academic & Pool Sessions

Our weekend program is perfect for those so excited to dive; they can’t wait and want to get it done! Saturday, we start with an academic discussion about fundamental scuba diving theories, practices, and the information you need to know to be a safe scuba diver. After the academic session, we head to the pool and start the development of your scuba skills so you can become a proficient diver and be ready for your open water check-out dives.   Sunday, we finish academic discussions, check for proficiency, and then head to the pool again to finish our confined water training. You will leave the educational and collection sessions confident, excited, and prepared to complete your open water check-out dives. Also, you will start dreaming about where you can dive next!

Private Sessions

Private Instruction allows for the ultimate flexibility by letting you design your schedule. Working one-on-one with an instructor, you cover the same material as during the weekend program but at your own pace! Lectures and pool times are arranged to fit your schedule and suit your needs. We can start your class immediately.

From late June until September, Open Water Dives are conducted at The Weaver’s Quarry, our private Quarry. We offer training dives from October until early June at the Blue Hole in Santa Rosa, New Mexico, and Homestead Crater in Heber City, Utah. Both locations are an easy drive from Boulder. Homestead Crater – $375.00 A natural hot spring protected from the elements by a natural dome; the water temperature ranges from 96-98 degrees. You may consider combining the trip with a visit to Park City, a 30 to 40-minute drive from Heber City. This is a great place to complete your Open Water training during the colder months! Hotel accommodations may be booked through Weaver’s. Blue Hole – $375.00 The Blue Hole in Santa Rosa, NM, is just a six-hour drive from Boulder.
