Boulder Weekend Program
Our weekend program is perfect for those who are so excited to dive, they just can’t wait! An orientation session will be held at the dive center from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on the Thursday evening preceding the class through December and on the Tuesday before class starting January 1st. At this meeting we will go over all the logistics of the class, fit students in gear, practice gear set-up and start you on the path to becoming a scuba diver. Your training continues on a Saturday morning with your first pool session. Please be at the South Boulder Recreation Center at 9:00am ready for fun. This will be a pool session, so bring your bathing suit, towel, mask, fins and snorkel. The pool session will run until 1:00pm, and after an hour break, we will meet back at the dive center for the first academic session from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. Sunday schedule: pool session at South Boulder Rec. Center from 9:30am to 1:00pm, then the second academic session from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. Your reading materials are all digital (hardcopy on request for an extra charge) so you can start right in on your computer, your phone or your tablet. Students must have reviewed all the sections of their digital materials, completed the corresponding Review questions and completed the student record file prior to starting class on Saturday.
