Meet the Staff

Steve opened Weaver's Dive & Travel Center in May on 1983. He is a Master Instructor Trainer and has been certifying divers since 1982. He has organized and escorted trips to destinations on 7 continents and he has logged over 6000 dives in both fresh and salt water environments. His favorite place to dive in Lembeh Strait Indonesia. I began diving several decades ago on my honeymoon in Hawaii. After working in corporate America and running my own business for 30 years, I was tired of not LIVING! Diving became a very serious hobby in 2015, and I became an instructor in 2016. In 2018 I joined Weaver's after successfully selling my business and I STARTED LIVING AGAIN! My family is my priority, and I spend every opportunity to have fun with them. A motto I use for my life, "Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming WOW!" - Hunter S. Thompson. Life is too short to live any other way, and putting my dreams on a shelf is not an option for me.

graduated from one of the very first open water classes offered at Weaver's Dive & Travel Center, just after we opened in 1983. A few years later, she became a dive instructor and moved to Grand Cayman where she worked for Don Foster's. Upon returning to Boulder, she started working for Weaver's Dive & Travel Center as the general store manager, a position she excelled at for 7 years.

Started her career in the dive industry as a sales associate at Weaver's Dive & Travel Center in 1984. She advanced to store manager then travel manager before pursuing a career specializing in travel to the South Pacific. She has traveled extensively to destinations including: Australia, The Galapagos, Costa Rica, Micronesia, Indonesia, Africa, the Caribbean, Mexico, and Europe.

Kelly started working for Weaver's during her Divemaster program in 2015. During her time here she learned as much as she could about dive gear, teaching, and dive travel. With a desire to apply her new found skills in a tropic destination, Kelly moved to Curacao to live the island life as a dive instructor. During her time in Curacao she learned how destination dive operators used social media to promote their business. After two years in Curacao she returned to Colorado and was convinced to rejoin the Weaver's Dream Weaver team as our digital media expert. When she is not busy posting wonderful content on social media, you can find Kelly in her extensive garden or playing with her dog and cat at home.

Grace, a passionate traveler and explorer, is dedicated to immersing herself in the wonders of the world and experiencing diverse cultures. With a love for adventure, Grace began her tourism career by earning her bachelor's degree in Natural Resource Tourism from Colorado State University. Her love for diving developed quickly after beginning her journey here at Weaver's. When not diving, Grace cherishes her beloved Yorkie Pomeranian, Berlin, and finds inspiration in the vibrant city life.
